We’re pleased to announce our partnership with NorthWrite Building Management Solutions to offer a new monitoring and verification service through the BuildingAdvice suite of solutions enabling energy service providers to reduce building operating costs. What does ongoing monitoring and verification mean to contractors? Reporting energy consumption information on a long term basis provides a metric on energy dollars saved, to stand behind adjustments and improvements to building energy efficiency. Additionally, continuous monitoring and verification allows contractors to identify changes in building efficiency as they happen, and make immediate corrections to avoid unnecessary usage and costs.

“Adding continuous energy monitoring and verification to the  BuildingAdvice™ program will really help us close the loop for our customers,” said Rick Cooke, Vice President of Airco Commercial Services located in California’s Bay Area. “A system that accurately measures and reports actual energy savings delivered eliminates a tremendous amount of financial risk for the building owner.”

Coupled with the automation of our benchmarking service announced in March, BuildingAdvice™ now provides end-to-end solutions for building energy performance from an initial diagnostic phase into ensured building performance for the long term.

BuildingAdvice™ will also feature other NorthWrite energy information management solutions such as Energy Kiosk™  (energy usage dashboards) and Degree Guard™ (temperature monitoring and alerting system).

What does NorthWrite have to say about it?

“BuildingAdvice shares our vision of developing new channels and methods to deliver energy services, and brings a wealth of expertise with commercial HVAC contractors,” said Patrick O’Neill, CEO of NorthWrite. “This partnership gives building owners and operators greater access to our solutions than we could never achieve on our own, and gives contractors access to all of NorthWrite’s solutions through BuildingAdvice.”
